John Considine from
Sydney, Australia holds up his own design electric powered B-36. The B-36
is 110 inch span, is 1:24 scale & weighs 10 1/2 lbs. It has 6 geared
400 size electric motors and uses 24 1700 mAh nicad cells. The fuselage
is balsa & foam & covered in brown wrapping paper, the wings &
tail are balsa & covered in solarspan. Retracts are Hobbyco mechanical.
John say's "The model is more than 10 years old & has flown
many hundreds of missions. It was built as a follow on to my B-29". (click on picture to see more) |
