Roger Layton from Rockford Ill with his Ziroli P-38. Roger's great looking P-38 comes in at 46lbs with a 114" wingspan. Two G-62's crank those scale Zinger 3 blade 22x6-10's with no problem. Robart retracts, landing lights and a Balsa Dynamics cockpit kit make up the rest of this fork tailed devil.

Ray Harris with his Ziroli Designed P-38 Lightning built by a gentleman in Michigan. This beauty has a 114" wing span, Robart retracts,two G45s and weighs about 50lbs. Ray says, "I picked it up 3rd hand from RC Online by trading my Ziroli P40 and my Bob Holman F6f Hellcat."

Tim Johnson from Owatonna Minn. with his great looking P-38. Tim says this is from a CBA kit and weighs 49lbs with a 120" wingspan. Two 3W engines for power. Good looking P-38 Tim! Maybe we can get Tim to send us some more details.

Dean Maupin's P-38 is built from a Bert Baker (Yellow Aircraft) kit using fiberglass and foam construction. This great looking twin comes in at 36lbs. with a 100" wingspan. Twin Supertiger 2500's haul donkey while Gene Barton retracts with brakes and cycling gear doors help during those ground maneuvers.

Frank's P-38 "PUTT PUTT MARU" is beautifully built from Ziroli plans. The twin has fiberglass booms, 114" wingspan and weighs 49lbs. 2 G-45's give it go while hydraulic brakes help it stop.

Arnold Marcus' Ziroli P-38 is powered by two 3.2 Fox engines with C&H ignition. It has Robart Retracts and wheels Finished with ultra coat and PPG paint. It weighs in at 45 pound.

Detlef Kunkel's Yellow Aircraft P-38 is running Roto RM 35 VPI engines w/ Carbon Super Silence props 20x12 turning at 7300. The gear is a new custom made stronger struts using Yellow Aircraft brakes. It has four full fowler flaps and the radio is a Futaba T14 / receiver: weatronic double receiver, 15 servos, 2 gyros weight 20,3 kilo wet fantastic aircraft to fly, but lands very fast.. not suitable for normal flying fields.
