April 2008
This months photo comes from Roger Eklund of Västerås Sweden and is from his clubs annual "Trettondagsmeeting" ("Epiphany meeting" ?) held January 5th 2008. It was a snowy and windy day but that didn't constrain my buddy Kim Mortensen from Strängnäs to fly with his "Birds". I hope you'll enjoy the picture - we really enjoyed the day regardless of the weather.

May's photo is of Scott Lee's 1/4 scale BalsaUSA pup. His pup is powered by a US35 gas motor and bares bares the markings and colors of an actual Sopwith Pup that was flown in World War 1 by Arthur Gould Lee. It was flown it combat from September 4th-30th, 1917. Captain Lee achieved ace status by downing 5 enemy aircraft in this plane..
